Capacity Building Assistance Center (CBAC)
CBAC improves the performance of the HIV prevention workforce by delivering scientifically sound and culturally proficient technical assistance, information sharing, training, technical consultations, observations, and creation of evaluation and implementation tools. We provide assistance to agencies and clinics providing behavioral biomedical interventions with individuals who are living with HIV/AIDS or to communities most impacted by HIV/AIDS, including same gender-loving communities of color.
CBAC provides training and technical assistance on WILLOW, Partnership for Health, Nia, ARTAS, and Popular Opinion Leader.
CBAC provides technical assistance and agency-to-agency "Boot Camps" on the previously mentioned plus: RESPECT; CRCS; CLEAR; Many Men, Many Voices; and Personalized Cognitive Counseling. In addition, we can provide assistance to CBOs and clinics implementing linkage-to-care and adherence strategies.
CBAC provides technical consultation for agencies needing assistance with community assessments and program evaluation.
Dallas Prevention Training Center (Dallas PTC)
The mission of the Dallas PTC Behavioral Intervention Training Program is to deliver innovative, state-of-the-art training in STD/HIV evidence-based interventions related to Prevention with Positives and the skills that support their successful implementation. Our Behavioral and Program Support courses that focus on Prevention with Positives are primarily open to audiences within the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. We also serve audiences nationally for courses related to the National Prevention with Positives Initiative.
Trainings under this award include: Healthy Relationships, CLEAR, CRCS and Community PROMISE.
